We've been working away in the background on some minor improvements to our website and adding a few new functions.

Product Out of Stock Notifications:

Previously, if an item in your basket became unavailable before placing the order, the product would automatically be removed with a quick notification which was easy to miss. We've introduced a new message which explains what's happening more clearly and also allows you to request an email as soon as the part becomes available again.

'Add to Basket' When Browsing

You're now able to add and remove products from your basket when browsing, rather than having to click in to every product individually and adding to cart from there. You can also amend the quantity of a product already in your basket when browsing too. Certain products which have variations, like oil nozzles, or where products aren't in stock at our main warehouse can't be added in this way but everything else can be!

'Add to Favourites' When Browsing

Similarly, you can quickly mark something as a 'Favourite Product' by clicking the small star in the top right hand corner of the product...

Line Item References

You can now add references to each line in your order, rather than just one job reference for the whole order. At the basket preview screen, click 'Add' next to the reference label to add the info for that product, this can be edited afterwards if necessary. These line item references will be shown on your invoices once the order has been shipped.

Verified Alternatives

Also known as 'non-OEM', 'non-branded' or 'plain box' products, our range of verified alternatives are not sourced directly from the appliance's manufacturer but have been sourced from alternative suppliers who have confirmed they're suitable for use with the listed appliances. The part is identical to the OEM version but supplied in plain, unbranded packaging. We do not supply 'copy' products or any products which have not been verified as suitable for their intended use. Verified alternative products carry a 12-month warranty as standard.

We've now highlighted when a 'verified alternative' version of an OEM product is available, along with the saving that can be made by opting for the verified alternative version.

You'll also see a new purple link to the OEM version of the part when looking at the verified alternative product to help compare between the products.

We know these are only minor changes but we're committed to making our website as easy to use and quick as possible.
