Danfoss Diamond Series Pumps Coming Soon - Important News for Oil Engineers

From October 2017 Danfoss Burner Components will begin to phase out the current BFP range of oil service pumps and solenoid coils and introduce the new Service 2.0 Diamond range as direct replacements.

As per a recent Danfoss press release:

"Danfoss Burner Components is very pleased to announce the strongest service pumps and coils ever built. Insights from thousands of installers across Europe are that they seek products with high performance ... which can cope with problematic situations and critical applications.

The new 'Service 2.0' pumps are engineered upon our 25 years of experience in BFP pumps and have been tested with leading OEMs in thousands of installed modern burners, with rather heavy loaded conditions. We constantly strive to develop the proven BFP concept even further to make the BFP pumps the natural choice also for the future"

Danfoss claim the new service pumps will offer 10-times longer lifetime in critical applications, and will be supplied with the new Diamond Coil, featuring increased durability.

Heating World of Spares Ltd. will continue to supply the current versions of all Danfoss BFP pumps and coils while stocks last. We have been advised by Danfoss that once their stocks are exhausted they will begin to fill our orders with the new Diamond Service 2.0 equivalents. We anticipate this process will begin in early October, but it is likely some of the more popular lines will be changed over the soonest.

We have not yet received definite pricing for the new Service 2.0 range, however it has been indicated it is likely the new range will be supplied at a higher price than the current products.
